Top 5 Dining and Restaurants Apps on Android in Portugal Q4 2023

During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top dining and restaurant apps in Portugal on the Android platform showcased varying trends in downloads and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

McDonald's experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting with 3.9K in late September and peaking at approximately 6K in mid-October. However, the downloads saw a gradual decline towards the end of December, closing at around 4.2K. The weekly active users showed an initial decline from 163.9K to 154.3K in early October but later surged to 278K by the end of November, before dropping again to 178.9K by the end of December.

TheFork - Restaurant bookings saw fluctuations in downloads, starting at around 4.8K in late September and reaching a low point of 2.8K in mid-December, before recovering to 5K by the end of December. The weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease from 24.7K to 20.9K by late October, and then stabilizing around 21K to 23.5K towards the end of the quarter.

Burger King - Portugal had a consistent download trend, starting with 4K in late September and maintaining around 3K to 4K throughout the quarter, ending at 3K in late December. The weekly active users exhibited a slight decline from 52.6K in late September to 45K by the end of December, with minor fluctuations in between.

Pizza Hut Portugal showed a significant spike in downloads during the quarter. Starting with relatively low numbers around 100 in late September, the app saw a notable increase to 1.1K by the end of November, and then a slight decline to 896 by the end of December.

McDonald’s Deutschland had modest download numbers, starting at 57 in late September and peaking at 136 in early December, before ending the quarter with 85 downloads. The weekly active users remained fairly stable, fluctuating between 1.3K and 1.5K throughout the quarter.
